SUMMER GROOMS ARE BOOKING UP
With the warmer weather, and the awesome job our groomer, Heather does, her schedule is starting to getting a little tight. If you have an upcoming reservation and would like your pet groomed during or at the end of your stay, please let us know at the time of your reservation so we can be sure to add you to Heather’s schedule before it fills up with same-day grooms. Thank you!
Heather, our groomer, is available Sundays for boarded pets only and Mondays through Thursdays for out-grooms or boarders. As a reminder, our invoicing system only allows for cash or check tips. Please contact us at 919-556-1177 to set up your pet’s grooming appointment with her soon!
TOURS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
Please be aware that during our highest volume times, we will not be able to accommodate tours. Our boarders get to know our staff well and can get stressed out if they see a lot of unfamiliar faces coming and going. For this reason, we will not be offering tours after Thursday, June 29th until Thursday July 6th. Thank you for understanding and letting us give the best possible care to all our fuzzy friends staying with us this July 4th!
!!!CANINE INFLUENZA INFO!!!
There is a strain of canine influenza that is affecting the eastern coast of the US. While we are not currently requiring this vaccine to be administered prior to boarding, we do STRONGLY RECOMMEND having this vaccine done. It is a highly contagious disease that spreads quickly. We have NOT had any cases in the kennel and we sanitize all surfaces regularly, but we do encourage our boarders to get this vaccination for their safety and the well being of all our boarders. The vaccinations are currently being distributed to vets in the area. It is a shot that is followed up two weeks later with a booster. Please contact your veterinarian to inquire about their availability and pricing. For more information on this health concern feel free to read up on the topic at these sites:
Thank you and stay healthy and happy!
